Kinder Graduation

Lily girl wrapped up her first year with a kinder graduation!!! We got to see her teachers actual, entire face for the first time. And we got to meet the friends Lily talks about everyday. 

Even though this has been a weirdish school year, her teacher and the other staff have done a great job. And  Lily has done some great learning.

Family Fun!!

Layla saw Trolls 2 about 1 month ago. Her favorite character? The bad guy...queen barb. Queen Barb is a rock troll and since she saw the movie, Layla has been a rocker too. That outfit? Every day. It’s cute that you think I’m joking. EVERY!! DAY!! At least her laundry contribution is pretty small. 

Warm weather means more walks!!! Woohooo! 

And more time in the swings. 

And more family bike rides!!

Llly Girl had spring picture day. I saw this dress at a consignment sale and just had to snag it for her. It’s the perfect color. 

Lizzie is 9 months!! She has 2 tiny teeth. 

And she wants to crawl SO bad. She can scoot her tiny hiney around but she hasn’t mastered the art of crawling yet. 

6 years old!!!

Lily Girl is 6 years old!!!!! I know...I can’t believe it either. 

She’s been SO excited about turning 6. She’s talked about it every day fir the last month...literally. I told her being 6 is a big deal. 6 year olds even do their own laundry so guess who got a laundry basket for her birthday. Hmmm...I wonder what chores 7 year olds do? 

Big Stuff

We have some bug stuff happening. 

This chica is almost 6 years old! She’s reminded me everyday (literallly) for at least the last month. 

And this little guppy has 2 teeth!!!! Watch your fingers because they are sharp and she loves to use them. 

And we can’t forget this chica. Her favorite thing (this week) is waking up at 3:00 am because of a weird dream. So...that’s fun. 

Lots of awesome here!! And we love it. 

Christmas

Christmas!!! Wooohoooo! 

We went on some Christmas break adventures. 

We made Jesus some birthday cups cakes. They were delicious!!

On Christmas morning Lizzie tried eating ALL the paper. 

The big girls are ready to bake up a storm!! We are super blessed. I know LOTS of people say that but we really are. We spent Christmas break together as a family and even got to visit other close family members. None of us had Covid so we got to taste all the food. We have 3 healthy girls and so many things to be truly thankful for. 

Oh and my favorite new Christmas tradition? Slumber party! We brought some mattresses in and the big girls slept in our room. It was super fun! We can’t wait to have Lizzie join us next year!!

Pumpkin Patch

Fall is here!!! Hooray!!! We went to the pumpkin patch and the girls had SOOOOOO much fun!!!

We picked pumpkins, rode a train, went down LOTS of slides, ate donuts, rode a carousel, went on a hay ride, hung out with some animals and had TONS of fun. It started out chilly (45 degree) but the girls ended up shedding their coats after a bit. That’s fall weather for ya. 

Even the littlest pumpkin did a great job...and even snagged a short nap.

Layla doesn’t understand why we can’t go to the pumpkin patch everyday. Sorry chica!!

First Day of Kindergarten

Lily is OFFICIALLY a kindergartener!!!!

I can’t believe it. I CANNOT believe it. It hit me a little harder than I excepted. First kid in Kindergarten? Next she’ll be in smelly middle school then smelly high school then college. College? How can she be going to college already??!! 

She had a great first day! Her teacher is nice, the other kids at her table are cool and she even got to play outside...TWICE! 

Layla did a great job without big sis. It’ll be an adjustment for her. After all, her best bud and playmate are gone now. But she’ll be a great helper with Lizzie.
