Dab a bit on your forehead. Add a little extra to the cheek area. And for good measure, coat your hands and run it through your hair. 

It's okay if you get it all over. The more, the better. 

The best thing about this beauty secret? It tastes delicious! Obviously, this little chica is a fan!!

 

Chill Kid

The other day I was getting ready for church, scurrying around like I do every Sunday morning. I was in and out of the room where Lily was playing. She was fine when she could see me...happily playing on her own, amusing her cute self. But the moment I left the room she would scream and cry and wail. At first it was cute. "Aw...she needs me...she misses me," I thought. Then, after about the 100th time, it wasn't so cute anymore. "Seriously Lily? I'm still talking to you. You can still hear my voice. I haven't left! Chill kid!"

Then, like a Mac truck, it hit me in the face. I do the same thing with God. The moment I can't see Him, I scream and wail and cry. "Why did you leave me?? How could you do that??" But just like I'm still there with Lily even though she can't exactly see my face, He is still with me even if I can't see Him. He probably just shakes His head at me and thinks, "Chill kid."

What Do You Do With No Brace??

What do you do when finally have your legs free?

1) You play with your toes during nap time. 

2) You dance a jig...or several jigs. 

3) You play with your toes when it's not nap time. 

4) You go for walks and make sure to cover up because sunburns are the worst. 

5) You SMILE!!! Because being brace free is awesome!!!

Embracing Freedom

We went to the hip doctor today. Want to know what she said?

"I do! I do! I do!"

Well...she said both hips look totally awesome and completely stable!!!!! 

*dance break*

Guys this is a huge deal!! Remember a couple months ago when Lily was in the brace all day? We went to the doc and she said there was no improvement. So we prayed and prayed and you prayed and prayed (thanks!!!). And today, for the first time in her whole life, Lily can be totally BRACE FREE! She can eat brace free, play brace free and even sleep brace free!!!!! We are so totally 100% thankful and we give every ounce of praise to God!!

We will go back every couple months to make sure there is no regression and she will continue to see the hip doc until she is 18. We are so thankful!!!
