Snow Day!!!

Lily has her first ever SNOW DAY!!! 

It’s just the yellow snow you shouldn’t eat...right?

Layla actually had fun in the snow!! She’s normally not a fan of being cold, or falling and not being able to get up, or having stuff thrown at her. But today she didn’t mind and it was SUPER fun!!!

All the Christmas Things

We’ve been doing all the Christmas things!!

We saw Christmas in the sky. Fireworks are cool any time of the year!! Pictures don’t even come close to showing how cool it is though so you just have to imagine it. 

Also we decorate our house. BJ did a great job! And we thought it was the coolest ever u til we saw the coolest ever light show on someone’s house. 

30 minutes later and we still hadn’t seen the whole set! They had some classics but they also had the lights set to the Trans Siberian Orchestra. Lily said she liked the rock ones best. 

Also we saw Santa. I thought Layla hated it but she carries the picture around with her all day. 


Every year, Christmas gets more and more fun with these chicas. 

Family Pictures

Our church is updating their website and needed new staff pictures so we had some quick family pictures taken. Do you know how hard it is to get 4 people to look in one direction when they’re all hungry and ready for naps. Hard. REALLY hard. 

Trick or Treating

Halloween was chilly and slick but still super fun!! Lily was a tooth fairy. Layla was a princess. But you couldn’t tell because they were both wrapped up in winter coats. 

Leaf Extravaganza

The weather has been beautiful. The leaves have been beautiful. The sky has been beautiful. And these sweet girls are ALWAYS beautiful. 

Lily Girl Wrote Her Name

Lily Girl wrote her name in a totally legible way! I mean, we have a little work to do with that Y. But check that out!!! Next, maybe she can write my grocery list. 

Cousin Camp

Cousin Camp 2019 was a total success!!!

We played in some moon sand. 

We had some bubble fights. 

Drew with sidewalk chalk.

We drove around. And around. And around. 

We had some chill time. 

We made some play dough time. 

And we did about a million other things. 

We made so many memories and had SO much fun!! And we can’t wait to do it again!!!

Layla Grace is 2

Can you believe this chica is 2???!!!

Layla loves Elsa (from Frozen) and I like making cake so...

We had a great day celebrating and spent some time playing with new toys, hanging out at the park, and eating all of Layla’s favorites.
