Pumpkin Patch

Fall is here!!! Hooray!!! We went to the pumpkin patch and the girls had SOOOOOO much fun!!!

We picked pumpkins, rode a train, went down LOTS of slides, ate donuts, rode a carousel, went on a hay ride, hung out with some animals and had TONS of fun. It started out chilly (45 degree) but the girls ended up shedding their coats after a bit. That’s fall weather for ya. 

Even the littlest pumpkin did a great job...and even snagged a short nap.

Layla doesn’t understand why we can’t go to the pumpkin patch everyday. Sorry chica!!

First Day of Kindergarten

Lily is OFFICIALLY a kindergartener!!!!

I can’t believe it. I CANNOT believe it. It hit me a little harder than I excepted. First kid in Kindergarten? Next she’ll be in smelly middle school then smelly high school then college. College? How can she be going to college already??!! 

She had a great first day! Her teacher is nice, the other kids at her table are cool and she even got to play outside...TWICE! 

Layla did a great job without big sis. It’ll be an adjustment for her. After all, her best bud and playmate are gone now. But she’ll be a great helper with Lizzie. 

Kindergartener. I still can’t believe it. Have a great year Lily!!!!

1/2 birthday & 2 months

We’ve had 2 reasons to eat ice cream...but let’s be honest, I generally don’t even need 1. 

Elizabeth is 2 months old!! Can you believe it? Only 2 months? It feels like she’s been here forever!!!

Isn’t she just the cutest? And Lily is 5 1/2. Yes. We celebrate 1/2 birthdays. Why? Because...cake!!! Lily really took advantage of her half birthday but using it as an excuse to try to get out of everything.“Lily don’t yell inside.”“But it’s my half birthday.”She also called herself the “birthday girl” all day. It was funny..,until it wasn’t. 
Layla didn’t have a birthday or a half birthday but she’s still one cool chica. She talks a lot. Like A LOT. But she’s super cute so I don’t mind. Until 7:30pm. And then I need a break.
It’s still Lily’s half birthday and I need to celebrate by eating some ice cream. So...byeeee. 

Happy 4th

Yay for Independence Day!! We celebrated at the lake and had a super fun time!!

We fed some ducks. 

And went on some tube rides. 

We hung out in the boat but the water was SUPER rough. No bueno. 

We splashed around in the water. 

Layla Grace wasn’t a fan of the lake for the first couple days but as soon as she saw the other kids having fun, she dove right in...literally. 

We rode some jet skis. 

We fished...but didn’t have any luck. 

And LZ even went for her first boat ride!! 

And then she took her first boat nap. :)

We had a great time and we hope you did too!!

Cousin Camp 2020

Cousin camp is back!!! And this time with more sleepovers, more snacks and MORE FUN!!!!
