Outdoor Time

Now that the weather has warmed up (most days at least), it's time for some outdoor fun time!!

Lily Pants McGee is getting a little heavy to carry on our walks so she has been spending more time in the stroller. My back is very excited about this new development.

We have to protect those baby blue eyes so when we are outside Lily wears some super cool shades. When I say she "wears" them, what I mean is she keeps them on for 13 seconds and then they end up on the ground. But for those 13 seconds, she looks absolutely fabulous!!

Lily even went on her first geocache! It was labeled as "kid friendly," but apparently I have a very different definition of what that means. We walked on a log, chopped through a thorn bush and almost fell into a creek BUT we found the cache!

The days are longer, the weather is warmer and we are so happy to see the sun!!

He'll Be Comin Round The Mountain...

When Uncle Josh leaves Colorado and comes for a visit, there are a couple things we have to do.

1) Smile pretty so he knows we are happy to see him.

2) Share our toys. Stuffed animals are his favorite.

3) Go for walks because Uncle Josh likes to play outside.

4) Help Uncle Josh pack his search and rescue bag. Luckily, no search and rescue was needed...except for a small search involving a missing rope thing. It was quickly discovered to be hanging out of Lily's mouth.

 5)  And the last thing we do when Uncle Josh comes to visit is miss him very much when he leaves.

Babysitting

In the event you need a babysitter, maybe you should look elsewhere.

I don't know where she gets it. I hardly ever hold her upside down.

That's how you make friends, right? By poking people in the eye? Hmmm, maybe that explains why my friend list is so short.

DIY pedicure...in the weirdest way possible. Now I don't want a pedicure or lunch. Just kidding...I still want lunch.

But after all the shenanigans, there's lots of love. And slobber. There's always lots of slobber.
